Spotlight & Floodlight Headlamp

At 3000 lumen max output the Fenix HP30R v2.0 is one of the most powerful headlamps available. Equipped with a piercing 295 yard capable spot light and a 100° wide angle floodlight, the HP30R v2.0 is an excellent choice for outdoor exploring, camping, search & rescue and more. The new rotary switch provides simple and intuitive controls, twist forward for spotlight, twist backwards for floodlight, or push in to activate both. The 180° tilting mechanism allows you to adjust the light up and down to cover all of your angles.

Multifunctional Battery Pack

The HP30R v2.0 operates on a USB-C rechargeable 2x 21700 battery pack providing 10,000mAh of power for over 15 days of runtime. The battery pack sits on the rear of the headband acting as a counterweight providing comfortable usage over time. Additionally, the battery pack can be completely detached from the headband and comes with a USB output port to double as a power reservoir capable of charging your electronic devices.

Robust Construction

The Fenix HP30R v2.0 is specifically designed for the toughest environments. The all-metal unibody LED housing is impact resistant up to 2 meters. Furthermore, the HP30R v2.0 is rated IP66 water resistant, and can withstand temperatures from -31° F to 113° F.

Unfortunately, I cannot rate the Fenix HP30R v2.0, as I have not yet received this product. According to the USPS tracking, it’ll be fifteen days since the mailing date, (seventeen since making the purchase on Black Friday) for the delivery. A previous purchase did not have such a delay.
I consider this item as an upgrade from a HP25R purchased earlier (with more burn time). My star rating is for the HP25R, not the HP30R, since a rating is required in order to submit this communication.

The headlamp is great but...

The headlamp itself is great. Very bright and good beam pattern on both spot and flood.

That being said, I've bought several lights from LHT over the years and never any issues except for this time. It was obvious that the package I received had already been opened and used. The head strap was shoved in the box, charging cord had been used, batteries were completely dead and there was dust all over the main lens. 20% discounts are nice, but I still expect to receive something brand new especially at this price point...
