5000 High Lumen Flashlight

The Fenix TK35UE v2.0 returns as the third refinement of the popular TK35.as Upgraded with a 3x high performance Luminus SST40 LEDs, the TK35UE v2.0 now has a super bright 5000 lumen output delivering up to 437 yards throw. The TK35UE v2.0 is made of tough A6061-T6 aluminum and coated with a HA III finish for superior impact resistance and durability. The TK35UE v2.0 is a great high lumen flashlight suitable for a variety of tasks from night operation to searching, caving and more.

Wide Battery Compatibility

The flat-body design of the TK35UE v2.0 houses two battery slots. Thus it can operate on two 18650 batteries, 4x CR123A batteries, or even a single 18650 and two CR123A in an emergency. Whenever the light is activated, or the switch is clicked during lockout the battery level indicator will give you an accurate read of remaining battery level.

Triple Function Toggle Switch

The mechanical switch can toggle among the tactical mode, the duty mode, or the locked mode. Use the tactical mode to limit the light to turbo and strobe outputs only or the duty mode for access to all five brightness levels, strobe and SOS. The lockout mode can be used to prevent accidental activation and preserve battery life. Its wide range of modes and brightness setting has you covered for all your lighting needs.

Longhorn's Fenix 5000 lumen flashlight is an ass-buster flashlight, especially considering its size. A little spendy, but worth every penny. Longhorn's delivery was super fast. The 15% disc wasn't too bad either. I'll be visiting Longhorn again in the future.

Good but not to 400 meters

So this is my third Fenix flashlight, all still working. I have some property with cattle on it and would like to be able to differentiate a calf from a wild pig at a distance. Now to be fair I probably couldn't see either critter at 400 meters. This flashlight is good to about a football field distance. I used a building that has a windowless structure on top as a target. Using Google Earth for measurement, you get a 45ft wide spot at 250ft. Beyond that you are getting a floodlight. So I knocked off a star because it really isn't beam.

The controls a fine. I found just using it on tactical to be good enough. If you want continuous light you should have a headlamp.

I am OK with external charging. I already had two protected 18650 with tips. Now not mentioned in the owners manual is the hot side of the batteries are connected. I don't know if this means the cells are used in parallel. But if they are in parallel it would be best to use cells in pairs and let them age together.

Love this light

Really love this light.The mechanical switching from tactical to duty to locked is a real winner. The balance between flood & spot.very well done. Very bright light. Supplied flap holster a plus.
